Planning a wedding is alway a busy and stressful time for every (ok most) brides and grooms. This is magnified times 100 when a key person is no longer able to celebrate with you. Recently I photographed a wedding where the bride's father was unable to be there in person. This bride came up with brilliant and beautiful ideas to keep him there on her special day.
1. My favorite way to keep your loved one close was this idea of sewing a piece of your love one's clothes inside your dress. This time it doubles as her something blue, her Daddy's blue shirt in the shape of a heart. What a beautiful way to walk with her.
2. Next is a SWEET idea. Have your loved one's favorite candy as your party favor, topped with a note remembering him or her.
3. Another great idea is to have a photo charm made with your loved one's image and have it attached to your bouquet.
4. The most traditional way to remember your loved ones is to set up photos in frames that coordinate to your decor/theme around your reception venue or at a special memorial table.
I hope you found these ideas helpful and inspiring. Best wishes to you as you prepare for your big day. if you liked this post, feel free to leave a comment, thanks a bunch!
