Day six of my seven days project featuring Tarryn Williams. The title of this piece is The Corporate Noose.
This is my piece that deep dives into my political side. It is all about the state of employment in today's market. Our parents got a job, worked it for 30+ years, then retired. This is no longer the way it works. Even the most stable of jobs layoff, fire, or squeeze out their employees at random intervals to suit their bottom line. On top of that our pensions are no longer pensions; they are stock options, so as much as we may "hate the man" we still need him to succeed, or go broke. Tarryn's tie strangles him like a noose symbolizing the corporate hold over the working man or woman. He portrays a beautiful sense of despair and hopelessness.
